My story begins in a moment of deep grief. At nine years old, with three younger siblings looking to me, my world changed forever when my father passed away. As the eldest daughter in a Ghanaian household, I was often told to be strong—for myself, but especially for my mother. Almost overnight, I stepped into a role of responsibility far beyond my years. My mother's tireless strength carried us through, but those early years left marks that only grace could heal.
I always loved Jesus and grew up in the church, but it was my move to Dallas in 2024 that changed everything. There, I didn't just find a new home—I found a personal, transformative encounter with Christ. He reached into the quiet spaces of my grief, offering the closure I had long searched for and a freedom that redefined my soul.
For the past five years, I've held JOSANA close to my heart, even when it wasn't yet what I knew it could be. Through it all, I never lost sight of one thing: this was meant to be a space to heal and to help however I could. JOSANA is more than my story—it's a purpose-driven haven, created entirely with you in mind.
